A tea totalling CFR 2brix: I can't rightly say if this is a vent or a whine. I'm sitting here placing all my happy pills into their little weekly spots when I realize today is the seventh. No biggy right, WRONG the seventh means no beer this friday. Huh they all ask with a quizical look on their faces and a scratchin their heads. It's CFR weekend here in Edmonchuck. Now maybe some of the easterners wouldn't see the harm in not drinking beer during a rodeo event but I grew up around this stuff. I worked rodeo as a volunteer and my reward "BEER". Not only is it a rodeo but this is the Canadian Finals. Pull those two apart and you get another pair of good reasons why this could be a vent. Canadian, from Newfoundland to Victoria Island there is one thing that holds us all together, here in Canada, even that bunch from around Quebec and Toronto, it is Beer. And then we have the word Final. Around the world the word final and imbibing of large quantities of lubricant are almost the same aren't they? To further my woes I have tickets to a wet concert on Friday. I know it is Rememberance Day but I did promise myself and my children I would behave and I would observe all the Rememberance Day traditions. I am going to the concert but how am I supposed to have the full experience of Doc Walker, Gord Banford and the Poverty Plainsmen without even a drop of relax all. No I am not a raving drunk but a balance of responsibility and inhibition (sp) remover does make the evening more enjoyable. Darn this Siatica or however it is spelled. Now I will go and sulk in my corner bemoaning the fact no beer and CFR and Doc Walker. :'(
