Wife Hauling stuff out right and left, I guess it's a good time to go online! toofargone: Here's my story.

I'm 52 and soon to be ex is 47. We've been married (first for both) for almost 30 years. 3 grown kids and 5 grandkids. I have muscular dystrophy and my health finally got the best of me a few years ago and am now on disability. My stbx (hope that's the right abv.) is in the National Guard and has been deployed many times over the 18 years she's been in. Anyway our trouble started when she joined and had the first affair (that I know of) and has had a half dozen or so in the last 18 years. I stayed for the kids and don't regret it. Now she doesn't feel she can hang around while my health declines.

In a way I'm glad she is leaving. I just couldn't have an affair while we were a family so now I guess I can find out what's out there!

She's taken all the kids and grandkids pictures off the wall and it's almost funny looking the the bare nails and cobwebs where once our lives hung! We should have everything settled up by the end of the month and are having a no contest divorce. I wish the best for her after all she will always be my kid's mom!

Hopefully I get out of this nightmare and find the woman of my dreams! :)

Wow.....that's a tough situation you're in and I feel for you....but you should be commended on how you're dealing with it!!

You sound like a wonderful guy and if your wife.....for whatever reasons couldn't see that....it's her loss.

Life can start anew at any age.....and I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding love again.
Stick around......lots of great people here to help you through!
Re: Wife Hauling stuff out right and left, I guess it's a good time to go online! mrlament: toofargone,

i can relate to the pictures on the wall, before my wife left she took the kids pictures down with...lets say in a hasty manner. i did the best that i could do to salvage some of the frames. ;D- its odd how you can look back after a seperation or divorce and see how youve spent half if not more of your life with one person. i look back at the end of my relationship and say GOD, i could have been doing....what ever with who ever for the past 16-17 years, damn, what a fuc***Ing waste. i could have robed a bank (not that i would ever ) but  i could have ;D and i'd be getting ready to be released, dig up my money and go to vegas...that would have been a better investment of my time. i could have gone to the himilaya's and studdied with the Dali Lama, for the past 17 years, come down from the mountain and been entlightened.  ;D your desire to go out and meet some one else is an inspiration...i'm 41 and for over a year i though my life was over thank you for sharing your strenght. Ho yeah....welcome! 8)
Re: Wife Hauling stuff out right and left, I guess it's a good time to go online! toofargone: Thanks for the encouragement. STBX is getting a bed moved into her new place and has stripped most of the house.  Today should be the day! Thank God, the past several weeks have been hell. I wanted her to get moved out before the holidays start. The holidays with her deployed overseas have prepared me for the coming experience.

Things can't get much worse, can they?
There must be a God because my life couldn't have turned out this way by chance alone! :)
